Based in Berkshire, AlbaVista was founded on a single conviction: that wild places deserve to be witnessed slowly. Every image is the result of weeks of planning, days of travel, and hours of stillness.
Commission a printThe Practice
Each location is studied for weeks — weather patterns, seasonal light, accessibility. We arrive knowing exactly where the sun will break the ridge.
The camera is set. Then comes patience. Sometimes hours in sub-zero silence before the light arranges itself into something worth capturing.
Every image is processed by hand, printed on museum-grade Hahnemühle paper, and archivally framed. Limited editions of 25 per image.
